I currently use Agent Sheets with 7th and 8th grade students in Multimedia classes at BHMS in the Boulder Valley School District. I plan to continue this in the fall of 2009. I will have four sections of Multimedia next year, two in the fall and two in the spring. There will be about 30 students in each class. I plan to have each student create a frogger game in 5 class periods and plan one period for reviewing and playing students games. On day one we will create the agents and the worksheet. On day two students will get their frogs and transportation vehicles to move. On day 3 students will create a frog depiction to represent a frog being hit. The students will also create the behaviors necessary to have their frogs die and regenerate. On the final day students will test their games and add any extra levels or behaviors they may want. Students will also fill out the evaluation survey on the 5th day. I will also allow students to create their own projects during Computer Club that takes place every Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 (November-March). Students that choose to work on Agent Sheets during this time will have the freedom and time to explore Agent Sheets.
